​Artwork Expectations

As you prepare your artwork for display, please take note of the following expectations:
  1. Label Printing & Cutting: It is your responsibility to print the labels for your artwork. Below is the label which is a fillable PDF & an example label. Please type on this document, do not hand write on the label. This allows our labels to be uniform for identification. Once printed, please ensure that you cut out the labels neatly along the dotted lines. Precision in cutting will contribute to the overall professionalism of the exhibition.
  2. Label Format: Ensure that the labels are printed on durable paper or cardstock to withstand handling and remain legible throughout the exhibition. Please use the fillable PDF so our labels are uniform.
  3. Providing Duplicate Labels: After cutting out the labels, kindly provide a second copy of each label to be attached to the back of your respective artwork. This will facilitate easy identification and handling of your pieces during the installation process and throughout the duration of the exhibition.
  4. Accuracy: Double-check all information on the labels for accuracy before printing & attaching them. Any errors could potentially impact the audience's understanding and appreciation of your artwork.
  5. Hardware: When dropping off artwork that must be hung, it must have the necessary hardware already attached. If it is not equipped with the necessary hardware upon drop off, it will not be on the show.   6. Deadline: Have your labels printed, cut, and duplicates provided when dropping off. 
  7. Assistance: Should you encounter any difficulties or require assistance with label printing or preparation, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to support you in any way we can to ensure a smooth and successful exhibition experience.

Artwork that does not adhere to these requirements risks not being accepted/displayed.

Artwork that is not picked up will be donated to OCAEA.
